QMed Services Private Ltd.

The company was started in 1999 by Ms Vasumathi Sriganesh, a librarian by training. Initially QMed Services offered several activities – literature searches, training, article delivery, website development and more, to individual health professionals and to the industry. In a few years she felt that there was a need for a not for profit company to help health professionals and we set up QMed Knowledge Foundation, and moved all our activities to the new entity. In 2011 after analysing our activities and results, we revived the company and restricted our work to one major activity – provision of full text articles. The Foundation currently focuses on training activities related to literature searching and referencing, for academics, research and systematic reviews.
